Service Description
5-day Kids Summer Yoga Camp gives children, ages 5-13,* the opportunity to incorporate yoga early into their lives. It allows children to learn ancient yogic practices in a fun and engaging way and enhance their connection to Nature and the Universe. This camp is designed to introduce children to various aspects of yoga, including purification of the system, yogic foods, and balance of the body, mind, and energy systems. Our goal is to help children blossom into their full potential. *If your child is 5-6 years old, they will learn a special set of practices appropriate for their age group. Practices include: Surya Shakti, a way to bring balance to the energy system, stabilize the mind, and increase flexibility. Thoppukarnam, a way to enhance the development of the brain and increase focus (This is a great practice for addressing any neurological issues.) Upa Yoga, a way to activate the energy system by mobilizing the joints Balancing Practices, ways to bring inner calm to the mind, body, and energy systems Timings: 9:00am - 4:30pm each day Sattvik (Positive Pranic) Brunch , Snacks, and beverages included each day! At the Kids Summer Yoga Camp, children will not only engage in yoga practices (taught in their original form) but also enjoy a range of hands-on educational activities, sports, games, and special balancing practices. A sample schedule for a day at camp: 9:00am - 10:30am: Morning Yoga Practices 10:30am - 11:00am: Nutritious Brunch 11:00am - 11:30am: Activities 11:30am - 12:20pm: Balancing Practices (AUM Meditation, Pranayam, Chanting) 12:20pm - 3:00pm: Snack Time & Activities 3:00pm - 4:00pm: Afternoon Yoga Practices 4:00pm - 4:30pm: Outdoor Sports or Cooking; Snack Time Timings & Session Information: Attendance for all the sessions is essential. Since the practices are taught step-by-step, if you miss one session, it will not be possible for you to attend the subsequent following sessions. Please make sure you arrive at least 10 minutes ahead of time, as we may not be able to accommodate latecomers.Due to the nature of the practices, we request you to maintain an empty stomach condition when you come for the session. There should be a gap of:2.5 hours from the last full meal,1.5 hours from the last snack,1 hour from the last beverage (excluding water)It is recommended to wear comfortable (loose) clothing.Bring a yoga mat with you, and a cushion if needed as we will be sitting on the floor.
Cancellation Policy
There are no cancellations or refunds. Attendance for all sessions is mandatory. If you miss a session, you must book a paid makeup session before the next scheduled class. Alternatively, if there is space available in an upcoming similar class, you can attend that session before the next scheduled class.
